When you use Relended, we collect information you provide directly: - Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account. - Item information: descriptions, photos, and details about items you submit for offers. - Chat transcripts: your conversations with our AI assistant, including messages from guest users who haven't created an account. - Transaction data: offer amounts, shipping details, payment information (processed securely by Stripe -- we never see or store your full card number). - Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction patterns. This is collected automatically via Vercel Analytics.

We use your information to: - Generate and deliver cash offers for your items. - Process transactions, shipping, and buyback requests. - Communicate with you about your offers, shipments, and account. - Improve our AI pricing accuracy and user experience by reviewing chat transcripts. - Send transactional emails (offer confirmations, shipping updates, payout notifications). - Detect and prevent fraud, stolen property, and counterfeit items. - Comply with legal obligations. We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We do NOT use your data for advertising.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services: - Account data: kept until you delete your account. - Transaction records: kept for 7 years for legal and tax compliance. - Chat transcripts: kept for 1 year for quality improvement, then deleted. - Item photos: kept for 90 days after a transaction is complete, then deleted. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing contact@relended.com. We will process your request within 30 days. Some data may be retained as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: - Access the personal data we hold about you. - Correct inaccurate information. - Delete your personal data. - Opt out of data collection (beyond what's needed to provide the service). - Receive a copy of your data in a portable format. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage data -- this does not use tracking cookies and does not follow you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information: - All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). - Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. - Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant). - Database access is restricted with row-level security policies. - Admin access requires a separate master login.
